I have recently taken to walking around the city. at night and very early in the morning, much to the irritation of the gate keepers who view every stroller as a prospective criminal.
Chennai looks and feels different during these hours, and since I work all day, it the only time I can go around taking photos, will build up a collection of images like these soon.

Today

I heard a violin today, I trembled.
there is a dusty violin in a corner of my room.

while looking through a cd of imges I came across a photograph of a page from an old sketch book of mine. - Indian Ink - early morning - tea - bamboo stick - are the main ingredients of the time.

How to Hate India

Here is a list of things that you can do which can sap your energy and will make you hate India.

1. Apply for a driving License.
2. Apply for a voters id.
3. Apply for a passport.
4. Go to the post office and try to get something done.
5. Try to drive any vehicle anywhere in the cities.
6. Watch Television.

This list is by no means complete, but the first five things I could think up today morning.
PS: I still do love India, but for different reasons.
