Its quite a thrilling experience to cross this hole in the floor, one has to step lightly on a few brick projections in the corner and walk all the way across, to find some wonderful views and a room full of human excrement .

Tranquebar: Governer's Bunglow
The Governer's bunglow should have looked impressive. the building on the beach was also in the same condition but now somebody has renovated it and now its a heritage hotel, it looks impressive on the beach.
This Bunglow is now home for a few old men, who read newspaper all the time or just sit staring out, the damage to this building is pretty extensive, I went upstairs to find beautiful view of the fort, the beach and also a room full of shit, I am amazed that someone would risk their lives to climb up there and cross a huge gaping hole on the floor and then shit ! !

Tranquebar: the ruins of the Governers Bunglow
The ruins look sad, majestic and philosophical at the same time
Tranqurbar: streets of Tarangampadi
i have'nt seen more than ten people at the same time on these streets, its quite and feels like you are walking in a land where time stands still, I wouldn't be surprised to see a man from 18'th century with wigs and coat and all that, walking out of one of these buildings.
this road gets busy only in the evenings when people rush to the beach.

Tranquebar: City gate
The narrow city gates lead to the beach and the fort, this route is called the King's route.
